It’s the Fall Membership Drive and memberships do not roll over. Classrooms with the highest percentage of members enrolled by September 26th (and the quickest enrollment for tie-breaks) will win the following prizes:
1st place: A t-shirt
2nd place: Pizza party,
3rd place: Ice cream party.
Members are also entered into a monthly raffle for a chance to win Singer Swag starting in September.
Q: What is the PTA?
A: The PTA is a non-profit organization that supports our Singer students, school, and community by hosting events and fundraisers throughout the year.
Q: How much does it cost?
Basic membership starts at $10, and higher categories and packages include donations for PTA programs. Your membership only lasts for one year, is per person (not household) and must be renewed every year.
Q: What do membership dues go toward?
A: Many, many things! Our membership drive is one of three fundraisers that helps us raise money to run our events throughout the year. The PTA hosts movie nights, staff appreciation events, international night, and the STEM fair. We also reimburse teachers for supplies, support field trips, fund school subscriptions, and so much more. Every dollar is appreciated.
Q: Do I have to volunteer if I sign up to be a PTA member?
A: No! By signing up to be a member of the PTA you are showing your financial support for the Flora Singer community. There are no time commitments to be a member. We have a full board of volunteers for this year and most other fundraising and non-fundraising roles filled. However, if you’d like to get involved we are always seeking volunteers for events throughout the year, and you can participate according to your schedule!
